Lindsey was born and raised in Traverse City and attended both NMC and Ferris State University through the University Center where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She lived for a short period of time in Germany, where her husband is originally from, after earning her degree before coming back to the Traverse area. Her previous work experience includes working as an accounting assistant in downtown TC and working as a deputy treasurer for Leelanau County. Her hobbies include reading, learning, outdoor activities, traveling and practicing her German. She is also a member of Mensa International.
