Bob and Hilary James – Chuck and Lizzy Loeb   in a Fathers and Daughters concert on Saturday May 5, at 8 PM in Milliken Auditorium. Traverse City’s own Grammy Award winning jazz legend Bob James, and founding member of the super group Fourplay, along with the newest band member, internationally renowned guitarist Chuck Loeb come together on the Milliken stage to close our 20th anniversary season featuring their daughters Hilary and Lizzy, who are accomplished vocalists in their own right.

Bob James (www.bobjames.com) has had a long career as a noted jazz pianist performing around the world. Traverse City fans will remember his appearance on the Milliken stage with his daughter, Hilary, after the release of their CD Flesh and Blood in 1995. The CD is being re-released by Tappan Zee Records in association with the upcoming May 5 concert and will be available that evening. Bob has been an ongoing favorite performer on the Milliken stage bringing many unique concert programs to Milliken over the years.

Chuck Loeb (www.chuckloeb.com) Chuck Loeb (wwwchcha renowned jazz guitarist, composer, arranger, producer, educator and recording artist became part of Fourplay in 2010. His daughter Lizzy (www.lizzyloeb.com) is a singer, songwriter and guitarist with a successful career of her own performing both in the US and Europe.
