This acknowledgement is gratefully offered out of a genuine and sincere sense of appreciation for the efforts invested in the planning and producing of the Commencement ceremony on May 2. - Linda Gleasmer and her crew for the great job with set-up, tear down, and clean up;
- Lisa Wilmeth for her excellent work with degree audits, student communication, and ceremony preparations;
- Holly Gorton & Sara Budzik for organizing the platform party;
- Cari Noga for writing the speeches;
- Meg Young for producing the program
- Anne Varga, Meg Young, Lisa Wilmeth and Diana Fairbanks for putting all the inserts and challenge coins in the degree covers given to graduates;
- Kyle Morrison and the Educational Media Technologies Department for managing Audio Solutions and for coordinating the streaming video;
- Cindy Deemer for producing the books used by all the participants and for checking in the graduating students;
- Sharyll McCready, Chito Sumbwe, and Debora de Jesus Marques for getting all of our graduates seated in the correct place;
- Miku Crouch, Ellie Sambrone, Carley McCall, Courtney Sorrell, Paul Schoppe, and Paris Morse for handing out programs and offering directions to our guests;
- Cheri Garvin for checking in students and carrying the NMC banner to lead our graduates;
- Jim White for overseeing security, parking, and emergency services;
- NMC Concert Band under the direction of Pat Brumbaugh for their wonderful music;
- Ronda Grindel who organized the Ferris graduates and staff;
- 3/C Bret Argir for carrying the American Flag to start our commencement ceremony;
- Kaylen Wheeler for singing the National Anthem;
- Marguerite Cotto for reading the graduates’ names, Laura Schmidt for reading the names of all the ADN & LPN graduates, and Jerry Achenbach for the reading the names of Maritime graduates;
- Rebecca Teahen and Betsy Coffia for organizing the Alumnus of the Year awardees;
- Leanne Baumeler for serving as our Sign Language Interpreter for the day;
- Lindsey Dickinson for assisting our international students;
- Deb Patterson for securing the high school gym and coordinating set-up;
- Julie Hansen for assisting in so many ways, including coordination of our committee meeting times;
- Diana Fairbanks overseeing promotion of our Grad Fair and Commencement ceremony;
- Michael Stalker who organized and led the Committee meetings;
- Scott Herzberg for his committee service and support for both Grad Fair and Commencement;
- Rita Kucera for her assistance with cross-departmental logistics;
- Taylor Nash for his committee service, student check in, and assistance with Grad Fair;
- Irena Grougan for her logistical support, coordinating Honors program, and student check in;
