You’ve heard the economy’s improving and want to gain an edge in the job market. Find out how at Dress for Success, a free event offering professional clothing, networking and interview preparation from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 21 at Northwestern Michigan College.
Located in the Welcome Center in the Health & Science Building on NMC’s main campus, Dress for Success is open to anyone in the community. Donated professional clothing for both men and women in all sizes will be available at no cost. Fitting rooms will be available to try on clothes.
Other professional services available include resume writing tips and critique, and mock interviews.
- Resume critique: Bring a copy of your resume for review by one of several local human resources professionals
- Mock interviews: Practice makes perfect. Conduct a one-on-one interview with a local human resources professional.
Dress for Success is organized by NMC students from the Professional Communications Business 231 class.
