For the third year in a row, NMC, along with 5 other colleges nation-wide will send student teams to Brazil for 30 days. While there, they will be teaching English to Brazilian high school students who are working to improve their language skills and gain global awareness through a 6 month program of intensive learning and exchange. Upon returning from Brazil, USBC fellows will continue their international teaching and connection with their Brazilian students online.
Also, Deanna Sinkler (not pictured), former NMC student who participated in US Brazil Connect 2014 has been nationally selected by USBC to be a senior fellow–quite an honor! She will be traveling with the NMC team serving as a mentor.
