Members of the inaugural Foundations of Leadership cohort at their final meeting.
Leadership. A critical part of any workplace, it’s easily noticed when absent, but much harder to deliver.
Recognizing the importance of doing so, however, a group of NMC faculty and staff spent the last six months focusing on the foundations of leadership at the college. As the annual employee and professional development review process begins, you’re invited to consider joining them.
Through monthly skill-building sessions, individual goal-setting, application to daily work, and colleague support, the participants gained competencies that will increase their effectiveness as supervisors, managers, and directors or as project leads, shared governance and committee leaders. The Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College will present the Jay Ungar and Molly Mason Family Band on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 8:00 PM in the Milliken Auditorium. Tickets are $25 in advance, $28 at the door, $22 for Museum Members plus fees. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Museum Box office at 231-995-1553 or on line at www.dennosmuseum.org.
