The annual Dennos Museum Holiday Art Fair will be held Friday through Sunday, October 25–27, 2013, with a Thursday preview opening 5-8pm. Fine arts and crafts from 50 area artists, Christmas and Hanukkah gifts, and arts and crafts kits are just a few of the enticements for holiday shoppers. Due to the ongoing shutdown of the federal government and subsequent furloughing of National Parks Service staff, the Dennos Museum Center must cancel the Sunday with a Ranger program on October 20, 2013. Depending on the future availability of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore staff, the program may be rescheduled at a later date. (more…)
