To the Hagerty Center Staff for accommodating the large crowd for the Annual Scholarship Luncheon. The team did an outstanding job staying on schedule, accommodating special requests, and making adjustments on the fly as things changed. The service, food, and venue were outstanding and made for a wonderful experience for all our honored guests. Many thanks to all involved.
To Lisa Cooper for the outstanding job she did managing the ever-changing details of the scholarship luncheon. As a result of her efforts, the event went off without a hitch.
To Jan McKinnon for going beyond the call of duty to help finish preparations for the Bridge Recognition Night on May 1. At the last minute, she helped provide NMC favors to each of the Bridge learners who completed their classes. Thanks Jan!

There is good news to report to all who have been anticipating the progress from the duck’s nest located at the entry of the Dennos Museum Center. On Friday evening (4/27/12) Stephen and Carolyn Drake observed the mother duck safely leading the ten ducklings to Scholars Hall where they will be educated properly in reading and writing. The mother patiently waited until the last duckling negotiated the parking lot curbing before moving onward to Scholars Hall. NMC has always attracted “those” who have direction and are persistent.
