To Rochelle Hammontree for her sheer determination and expert research skills in helping answer a question. Rochelle answered the reference question of the week – maybe even the semester: “I need a poem about Hannibal and his elephants.” A bright spot in a busy week!

The NMC Wellness Olympics are here!
- We now have 47 NMC Olympians; people just keep signing up!
- We have logged 264 hours of exercise!
There are two parts to the NMC Wellness Olympics: Olympic Training and Olympic Events.
Olympic Training
During Olympic Training participants will keep track of points through an online form. 15 minutes of exercise = 1 point. Please self report the week of the exercise. As well, participants will determine if they are a “Veteran Olympian” (currently exercising 3x per week) or “Amateur Olympian” (currently exercising less than 2x per week).
Olympic Events
A variety of events will be occurring during the Olympics (July 27-August 12). These events are still to be determined.
What’s my next step?
Once Registered (Link Revised)
Once registered, log your points at: https://docs.google.com/a/nmc.edu/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dFZmQTk4b2U3WjFqYW5yNHdCcDBBZUE6MQ#gid=0
Get a Team Together
Student Life has banded together and challenged another team. Your team can choose a country to represent. Why not get a team together and challenge someone else.???
If you haven’t registered for the NMC Wellness Olympics…why not? You’ll soon start getting updates directly from Olympic Plaza once you do and find out how your fellow Olympic trainees are doing!
