\"Slade,<\/a>Jason Slade was born and raised in Waterford, MI. \u00a0He attended Michigan State University, where he completed his BS \/ MS in Electrical Engineering and met the only person that could put up with him, his now wife, Stacy. \u00a0After college, he worked as an electrical engineer in the automotive industry specifically on sensors designed to reduce the likelihood of a rollover accident. \u00a0However, he knew that he wanted to teach, so when Mott Community College in Flint had an opening he jumped on it. \u00a0For the past 7 years, Jason has been the Faculty \/ Coordinator of the Electronics and Electrical Technology Program at Mott.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When the opportunity arose to join the Engineering Technology Program here at NMC, Jason jumped at it. \u00a0He knew it was an exciting, dynamic program with great growth potential. \u00a0It also included the allure of Northern Michigan. \u00a0His children, Olivia (age 4) and Carter (age 2) have been loving the beaches in and around TC. \u00a0He has an emotional golden retriever named Maggie that is having difficulties with the move, however she has enjoyed long walks on the Lake Ann pathway. \u00a0 His interests include hiking, camping, and golf.<\/p>\n
