As FY\u201914 comes to a close, it\u2019s also important for departments to conduct a year-end check of their FY\u201914 Operational Plan A3.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Year-end reviews offer an excellent opportunity to close out the year by \u201creflecting on last year\u2019s activities\u201d as well as recording \u201cfollow-up\/unresolved issues\u201d which will need to be addressed in FY\u201915. These are both sections included in the A3 template. It\u2019s also wise to update key metrics for your department. Finally, as departments close out the year, this is a great time to review goals and activities that are planned for FY\u201915 to make sure they are fully informed by all that has been accomplished and learned in this current fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p>If you find the need to make significant changes to your department Operational Plan A3 for FY\u201915, please discuss this with your President\u2019s Council leader before settling on major changes. All FY\u201915 A3\u2019s are available on the intranet<a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.nmc.edu\/depts\/orpe\/planning\/operational-plans.html\"><strong> located here<\/strong><\/a>. If you would like an updated version posted, please send them to <strong><a href=\"mailto:kruedinger@nmc.edu\">kruedinger@nmc.edu<\/a><\/strong> as an email attachment or use the submission form on the intranet.<\/p>\n<p>One final planning note, a small work-team has been formed to begin the initial work of developing the FY\u201916 strategic plan. This group is preparing for a July 1st work session by reviewing a Strategy Retreat Workbook. That workbook along with the revised planning assumptions are available on the ORPE intranet pages <a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.nmc.edu\/depts\/orpe\/planning\/strategy.html\"><strong>located here<\/strong><\/a>.
