Drug Awareness Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dear all,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Northwestern Michigan College is committed to providing a campus environment free of the use of illegal\u00a0drugs\u00a0and abuse of\u00a0alcohol\u00a0and\u00a0drugs.<\/strong>\u00a0As part of our\u00a0<em>Federal compliance<\/em>\u00a0and responsible citizenship at NMC, all employees must receive annual notification of our program and abide by NMC&#8217;s policies, procedures, and guidelines outlined below.<\/p>\n<p>To that purpose, NMC\u2019s\u00a0Alcohol\u00a0and Illicit\u00a0Drugs\u00a0Awareness Program is provided to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clarify NMC Policies (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmc.edu\/about\/policies\/board-staff\/D-505.08.html\">D-505.08<\/a>)\u00a0and Procedures (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmc.edu\/about\/policies\/board-staff\/D-744.01.html\">D-744.01<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmc.edu\/about\/policies\/board-staff\/D-744.02.html\">D-744.02<\/a>) regarding\u00a0alcohol\u00a0and\u00a0drug\u00a0abuse, including medical marijuana.<\/li>\n<li>Identify\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmc.edu\/student-services\/campus-safety\/alcohol-and-drug-awareness.html\">health risks<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Provide\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmc.edu\/student-services\/campus-safety\/alcohol-and-drug-awareness.html\">resources<\/a>\u00a0for help if you or someone you know is struggling with\u00a0alcohol\u00a0or\u00a0drug\u00a0related problems or concerns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Again this year, instead of sending out training to all employees, we are communicating by email.\u00a0 We hope you will find this information helpful.<\/p>\n<p>We encourage you to complete this\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ea-nmc-greenlight.silkroad.com\/student\/default.aspx?parms=1&amp;launchitem=catalog&amp;launchargs=i:150\">Alcohol &amp;
