{"id":7850,"date":"2014-02-06T11:28:05","date_gmt":"2014-02-06T16:28:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=7850"},"modified":"2014-02-10T15:02:41","modified_gmt":"2014-02-10T20:02:41","slug":"benefits-corner-assist-america-service-through-priority-health","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=7850","title":{"rendered":"Benefits corner: Assist America service through Priority Health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Are you or a dependent planning a trip outside of the Traverse City area?\u00a0 If you are enrolled in NMC\u2019s medical insurance, you have coverage through Priority Health to a service called Assist America.\u00a0 If a member, spouse or dependent becomes ill or injured while traveling more than 100 miles from home or is in a foreign country, Assist America provides support with medical referrals, monitoring, evacuation, repatriation and more.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This service is available for participating members (including dependents) regardless of whether the travel is personal or work related.<\/p>\n<p>To access an ID card, you can log on to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.priorityhealth.com\">www.priorityhealth.com<\/a> and log into your member center page.
