So, I did some research. Hispanic is a cultural identity of Americans who trace their roots to Spanish speaking countries. This is different from Latinx, though there is overlap. And that also means a lot of diversity! This <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/BAXspOswDSI\">short film<\/a> is a quick primer about what it means to be Hispanic and a little info on the significance of HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH and how it came to be.<\/p>\n<p>This list includes fiction, poetry and podcasting by Hispanic-Americans, as well as work that celebrates the myriad cultures they represent.<\/p>\n<h3>POETRY<\/h3>\n<p><i><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-69514 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/10-21-hispanic-heritage-month-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"55\" height=\"82\" \/>The Whole Island: Six Decades of Cuban Poetry, a Bilingual Anthology <\/i>edited by Mark Weiss<br \/>\nDeeply rooted in Cuban culture, many of these poets have been at the center of political and social changes. The poems offered here constitute an essential source for understanding the literature and culture of Cuba.
