{"id":582,"date":"2012-02-17T12:00:38","date_gmt":"2012-02-17T17:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=582"},"modified":"2012-02-17T12:20:09","modified_gmt":"2012-02-17T17:20:09","slug":"nmc-foundation-excellence-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=582","title":{"rendered":"NMC Foundation Excellence Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Nelson is requesting your assistance in honoring your faculty and staff colleagues at Northwestern Michigan College.<\/p>\n<p>The NMC\u00a0Foundation\u00a0Excellence\u00a0Awards promote exemplary service to students and clients and recognize the outstanding demonstration of NMC&#8217;s values. Up to five awards are granted annually and the recipients are announced at the annual service awards reception in April. All college employees are eligible for this award, including faculty (regular and adjunct), staff (administrative\/professional, maintenance\/custodial, support, technical\/paraprofessional, and supplemental) and student employees. A list of previous recipients can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmc.edu\/about\/foundation\/awards\/index.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Any member of the faculty, staff, community, or student body may nominate a person or group for the award by completing a nomination form and submitting it to the President&#8217;s Office by the deadline date of\u00a0<strong>March 16, 2012.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>A selection panel comprised of representatives of the\u00a0Foundation, faculty, staff, and students reviews the nominations and makes a recommendation.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmc.edu\/about\/foundation\/awards\/fea-nomination-form.pdf.\">nomination form is available online<\/a>.
