{"id":5455,"date":"2013-06-18T13:42:37","date_gmt":"2013-06-18T17:42:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=5455"},"modified":"2013-06-21T10:18:16","modified_gmt":"2013-06-21T14:18:16","slug":"hey-where-did-the-homepage-login-go","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=5455","title":{"rendered":"Hey, where did the homepage login go?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By now you have probably noticed some changes on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmc.edu\">nmc.edu <\/a>homepage. \u00a0Most notably is the new menu bar at the very top of the screen that stays there as you scroll down or move on to a new page.<\/p>\n<p>You probably also noticed that the old LOGIN link no longer exists under the search bar on the homepage.<\/p>\n<p>We didn&#8217;t get rid of it, or hide it. \u00a0We moved it to the upper righthand corner of every page on that new menu bar. \u00a0It&#8217;s the MyNMC link. \u00a0No matter where you are on the web site, you&#8217;re only one click away from MyNMC and the ability to log into all of your favorite NMC utilities.<\/p>\n<p>Some other changes on the homepage include quick links to apply to NMC and register for classes. \u00a0The library site is now easier to find. \u00a0programs and courses can now be found as the first link on the green menu bar under academics.<\/p>\n<p>The pages for current or prospective students, the NMC Foundation, services for veterans and Board of Trustees materials are easier to find, too.<\/p>\n<p>We also upgraded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmc.edu\/about\/maps\/index.html\">our maps, and added Google map functionality<\/a> (both on your desktop or mobile devices.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Screen-Shot-2013-06-10-at-1.36.30-PM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-5456\" alt=\"New NMC homepage\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Screen-Shot-2013-06-10-at-1.36.30-PM.png\" width=\"592\" height=\"527\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Screen-Shot-2013-06-10-at-1.36.30-PM.png 986w, https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Screen-Shot-2013-06-10-at-1.36.30-PM-300x267.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 592px) 100vw, 592px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New changes on the nmc.edu homepage explained.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_et_pb_use_builder":"","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","_exactmetrics_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[68,5],"tags":[1299,349,759,1524,1523,23,1521,1522,933],"class_list":["post-5455","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-intercom","category-student-news","tag-board-of-trustees","tag-foundation","tag-library","tag-login","tag-maps","tag-mynmc","tag-new-homepage-navigation","tag-nmc-edu","tag-veterans"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Hey, where did the homepage login go?
