{"id":478,"date":"2012-02-07T16:16:27","date_gmt":"2012-02-07T21:16:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=478"},"modified":"2012-02-07T16:16:27","modified_gmt":"2012-02-07T21:16:27","slug":"nominate-someone-for-the-faculty-excellence-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=478","title":{"rendered":"Nominate someone for the Faculty Excellence Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Have you ever put off telling an instructor how much you appreciated all you learned in class?<\/li>\n<li><em>Have you let your instructors know how much you value the help you received during office hours?\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<li>How about the class you <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">HAD<\/span> to take and assumed you wouldn\u2019t like <strong>BUT<\/strong> ended up enjoying it?<\/li>\n<li><em>Are you just now realizing how great an instructor from last year really was?<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Has one of your instructors been able to \u201cput the pieces together\u201d for you?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You have the opportunity to do all of these things and more by submitting an online nomination for instructors who have helped you along the way.\u00a0 LINK:\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmc.edu\/cie\/awards\">www.nmc.edu\/cie\/awards<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zoomerang.com\/Survey\/WEB22BFRVJYDQY\">Students are invited to submit nominations for NMC\u2019s 2011-2012 Imogene Wise Faculty Excellence Award and Adjunct Faculty Excellence Award recipients.<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0This web link will be available between now and March 12, 2012.\u00a0 Your nomination, along with nominations from other students, will be reviewed by a Student Selection Committee to determine the <strong>2011-2012 Faculty Excellence Awards<\/strong> recipients.\u00a0 Award recipients will be announced at Commencement on May 5.<\/p>\n<p>If the instructor(s) you nominated is not one of the award recipients, the instructor(s) will still be notified that they were nominated, along with anonymous comments from student nominations.
