{"id":45608,"date":"2019-09-04T10:47:31","date_gmt":"2019-09-04T14:47:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=45608"},"modified":"2019-09-04T10:47:31","modified_gmt":"2019-09-04T14:47:31","slug":"congratulations-to-dr-nissley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=45608","title":{"rendered":"Congratulations to Dr. Nissley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I offer my congratulations to Dr. Nissley as the incoming president of NMC.\u00a0 Thank you to all of the campus and community members who participated in the search process.\u00a0It was open, transparent and effective.\u00a0 Our Board of Trustees should be commended.<\/p>\n<p>The next four months will race by and there will be much to accomplish during the transition to new leadership.\u00a0I am confident that we will all work to provide information and support that will assure Dr. Nissley\u2019s successful entry to NMC and our college&#8217;s continued success into the future.\u00a0Holly Gorton, Chief of Staff to the President and Board will coordinate the transition process working with the Board, the campus, members of the community and me.<\/p>\n<p>I look forward to welcoming Dr. Nissley and his family to Traverse City and am certain he will be a great asset to the college and community.<\/p>\n<p>Tim<\/p>\n<p><strong>Timothy J.
