{"id":4154,"date":"2013-02-12T17:06:04","date_gmt":"2013-02-12T22:06:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=4154"},"modified":"2013-02-12T17:06:59","modified_gmt":"2013-02-12T22:06:59","slug":"nominate-a-great-instructor-for-the-faculty-excellence-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=4154","title":{"rendered":"Nominate a great instructor for the Faculty Excellence Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<ul>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Has one of your instructors made a real\u00a0<\/span>difference<span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">\u00a0in YOUR educational journey?<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Have you told an instructor how much you appreciated all you learned in class?<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Have you let your instructors know how much you value the help you received during office hours?\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>How about the class you\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">HAD<\/span>\u00a0to take and assumed you wouldn\u2019t like\u00a0<b>BUT<\/b>\u00a0ended up enjoying it because of an excellent instructor?<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>You have the opportunity to do all of these things and more.\u00a0 Submit an online nomination for an instructor for the Faculty Excellence Awards.<\/p>\n<p>Your nomination, along with nominations from other students, will be reviewed by a Student Selection Committee to determine the\u00a0<b>Faculty Excellence Awards<\/b>\u00a0recipients.\u00a0 The award recipients will be announced at the May 4th Commencement Ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>If the instructor(s) you nominated is not one of the award recipients, the instructor(s) will still be notified that they were nominated, along with anonymous comments from student nominations.
