“Michigan Meetings and Events Magazine” is currently conducting their eighth annual Readers\u2019 Choice \u201cBest of Awards\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0 This years winners will be announced in the Summer 2013 Issue and will be recognized at their industry event at the Frederick Meijer Gardens in May.\u00a0\u00a0 Traverse City properties and suppliers were well represented and won several of the \u201cBest of Categories\u201d over the past few years because\u00a0you made your choices known<\/i>.\u00a0 The Dennos Museum Center has won “Best Cultural Venue, Outside Detroit Metro Area” for the past three years and The Hagerty Center has won “Best Meeting & Event Venue, Outside Detroit Metro Area” for the past two years.\u00a0 Our Northwest Michigan Region has many outstanding properties and venues that should be recognized again in 2013.\u00a0\u00a0 Recognition of our NMC operations, as well as any of the area properties\/venues, enhances the image of Northwestern Michigan College and the entire Traverse City destination.<\/p>\n

In order to make our voices heard, we would like to encourage you to complete an online ballot to insure that the Traverse City area is once again well represented in 2013.\u00a0\u00a0 You can go to the link below to fill out your ballot for the 2013 Best of Industry Awards.\u00a0 A valid ballot must include at least ten completed categories of the 21 categories listed.\u00a0\u00a0 There is a limit of one ballot per e-mail address and entries must be submitted by 5:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2013.<\/p>\n
