{"id":3192,"date":"2012-11-02T11:49:49","date_gmt":"2012-11-02T15:49:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=3192"},"modified":"2012-11-02T11:49:49","modified_gmt":"2012-11-02T15:49:49","slug":"new-voluntary-insurances-available-to-regular-adjunct-and-supplemental-employees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=3192","title":{"rendered":"New Voluntary Insurances Available to Regular, Adjunct, and Supplemental Employees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">New Voluntary Insurances Available to Regular, Adjunct, and Supplemental Employees<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Costs associated with an unexpected illness or accident can have a serious effect on your family\u2019s finances.\u00a0 To help increase your financial protection, Northwestern Michigan College is offering eligible employees an opportunity to apply for Critical Illness and Accidental Injury insurance through CIGNA effective January 1, 2013.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Critical Illness <\/strong>and <strong>Accidental Injury <\/strong>insurance can help you pay out-of-pocket expenses not covered by traditional insurance. These plans provide a lump sum, cash payment directly to you as a result of a covered accident or serious illness.
