{"id":26845,"date":"2017-04-28T17:07:37","date_gmt":"2017-04-28T21:07:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=26845"},"modified":"2017-04-28T17:07:37","modified_gmt":"2017-04-28T21:07:37","slug":"spring-annual-reviews-launched-for-adjunct-faculty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=26845","title":{"rendered":"Spring Annual Reviews launched for Adjunct Faculty"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you taught as an adjunct faculty member <strong>for spring semester<\/strong>, you should have received an email <strong>this week<\/strong> with instructions on how to login and begin your annual review through the online Performance system.<\/p>\n<p>The annual review supports of both NMC\u2019s values and the Higher Learning Commission guidelines for accreditation, and:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recognizes and celebrates accomplishments<\/li>\n<li>Provides feedback on performance<\/li>\n<li>Captures and shares learning that has occurred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The annual review consists of four steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Complete your Self-Review (Remember to review your Student Course Evaluations for this step.)<\/li>\n<li>Academic Chair\/Designee completes review<\/li>\n<li>Both meet to discuss feedback (ideally in person, but can be done by phone.)<\/li>\n<li>Sign off on meeting and form electronically<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Resources and instructions may be found here:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/employees.nmc.edu\/depts\/human-resources\/employee-resources\/adjunct-review\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">employees.nmc.edu\/depts\/human-resources\/employee-resources\/adjunct-review\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The timeline for completion is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>May 12 &#8211; Adjunct Faculty Member completes Self-Evaluation<\/li>\n<li>June 30 &#8211; Academic Chair\/Designee (Reviewer) completes<\/li>\n<li>June 30 &#8211; Adjunct Faculty Member and Reviewer &#8211; Meet and sign off (electronically) that the review is complete<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please watch your NMC email for additional notifications from <a href=\"https:\/\/nmc-ws.silkroad.com\/NMC\/Root\/HomePage.aspx\">SilkRoad Performance<\/a>. You will receive email reminders as the due date nears.
