If you are an active member of\u00a0MPSERS, the state retirement system, you should have recently received notification from the Office of Retirement Services (ORS) either through your home mail, email, or both to let you know that you need to make an election on how you want your pension and\/or retiree healthcare benefits handled going forward.\u00a0 The online election period is\u00a0<\/strong>9\/4\/12 – 10\/26\/12<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To help prepare you to make this important decision affecting your future, we will be holding informational sessions in computer labs around campus over the next several weeks.\u00a0 There will be a presentation on the changes going into effect, and we will walk you through the online help in the\u00a0MPSERS\u00a0website which is available to help you evaluate your election options.<\/p>\n

If you have already set up your online\u00a0miAccount<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0MPSERS,\u00a0bring your log-in information<\/strong>\u00a0and you can follow along during the presentation.\u00a0 If time permits, I will be happy to answer any questions that I can, or I can show you to how you can get direct answers that affect your individual situation.\u00a0\u00a0Online through miAccount is the only way you will be able to make your election.<\/span><\/p>\n
