Scott was honored for modeling NMC values in his daily work, work that resulted in NMC being named one of the top five \u201cBest for Vets\u201d community colleges nationwide.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Since taking on this role in July 2014, Scott has assisted over 200 military veteran students, building trust and relationships with them. These students are among his most ardent supporters, and in fact contributed to the submission to nominate him for this award.
