Northwestern Michigan College is hosting a team of facilities assessment professionals who will be visiting every building and venue on campus to help us better understand the current condition of our facilities and infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a vibrant campus environment, this assessment will help us evaluate the spaces and systems that keep our campus comfortable, functional, and ready to support our community.\u00a0The information gathered will help us plan for the future, prioritize maintenance and improvements, and make informed decisions that support NMC\u2019s strategic goals.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What to Expect<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Campus-wide visits:<\/strong> The assessment team will be visiting every building and venue on campus over the next two weeks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Photos and documentation:<\/strong> Team members will use tablets to take photos and document the current condition of our facilities and building systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Minimal disruption:<\/strong> The team will do its best to work quietly and schedule visits to avoid disrupting any campus activities. Some of the time they will be escorted by a member of the maintenance or facilities team, and some of the time they will work independently.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Questions are welcome!<\/strong> If you see a member of the assessment team and are curious about what they\u2019re doing, feel free to say hello.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you\u00a0for your understanding as we take another step toward maintaining and improving our campus for the entire NMC community!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the next two weeks, you may notice a few extra faces around campus!
