{"id":165448,"date":"2025-12-19T14:31:34","date_gmt":"2025-12-19T19:31:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=165448"},"modified":"2026-01-05T11:53:09","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T16:53:09","slug":"anchor-and-edge-modernizing-for-whats-next","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=165448","title":{"rendered":"Anchor and Edge: Modernizing for what\u2019s next"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At their meeting on December 15, 2025, the Board of Trustees approved the strategic plan as presented. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmc.edu\/strategic-planning\/files\/Strategies-and-Draft-Objectives-12-16-25.pdf\">This document summarizes the strategies, objectives, strategic drivers, and the strategic impact statement<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0Anchor and Edge, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmc.edu\/strategic-planning\/\">NMC\u2019s new strategic plan<\/a>. In this preliminary phase of strategic plan development, work continues behind the scenes drafting actions for the thirteen objectives with three deep-dive strategy workshops scheduled for early January. Teams will work to finalize their action steps, identify resourcing needs, and align with internal processes during spring. The official launch of this three-year plan will coincide with the start of FY27 on July 1, 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Strategic Initiatives would like to thank the Strategic Plan Steering Committee, Leadership Council, ESIMT, Faculty and Staff Councils, student groups, ORPE, industry partners, and the many others that provided valuable input and support during the development process.
