As we head into the winter season, now is the perfect time to confirm that you are signed up for NMC\u2019s Emergency text alert system. Follow the steps below to check your opt-in status now.<\/p>\n

  1. Log-In to your MyNMC homepage (my.nmc.edu<\/a>)<\/li>\n
  2. Select Self-Service<\/li>\n
  3. Select Personal Information<\/li>\n
  4. Select \u201cText Message Opt-in\/Opt-out\u201d<\/li>\n
  5. Enter your phone number and provider<\/li>\n
  6. Select the opt-in level \u201cInformational incl emergencies\u201d.\n

Informational will send you a text anytime campus closes due to inclement weather, and emergencies will notify you any time there\u2019s a genuine threat or emergency on any of our 5 campuses and we need you to be aware.
