Kudos to Sarah Mavis:\u00a0 <\/strong>Sarah is the bookstore’s recent hire from July 2015. She has recently taken on a huge project and dedicated many hours to renovating our website with a sleek new layout that is easier to use and navigate. Please take a moment and check out all her hard work<\/a>. We are so grateful for all of Sarah’s enthusiasm, energy and eagerness to promote NMC.<\/p>\n

Kudos to Scott Herzberg: <\/strong>Recently at the TC West\/Central basketball game a check was presented to Dogs in Honor for $10,000\u00a0the TC Patriot Game in fall 2015. Scott has been instrumental in helping put on the Patriot Game which is an annual football clash between TC West and Central. The game honors veterans, active duty military and first responders in a pre-game ceremony. Commemorative t-shirts are also sold. Dogs in Honor was chosen as the local organization that helps veterans for the 2015 game. They train service dogs for veterans with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) in northern Michigan.
