Kudos- <\/strong>Praise or respect that you get because of something you have done or achieved. (defined by Merriam-Webster.com)<\/p>\n

Kudos to the following people and departments!\u00a0If you know of co-workers who are going above and beyond,\u00a0nominate them for kudos here!<\/a><\/p>\n

Kudos to Gwen Tafelsky and Amanda Woodruff<\/strong>.\u00a0 Gwen and Amanda organized an information session for advising and admissions staff to help them better understand what happens in the nursing simulation lab. This will help these individuals as they work with new students during the admission and advising process.<\/p>\n

Kudos to Frank Jabour.\u00a0 <\/strong>Frankie J is the “glue” in our Aviation Department. This “go-to” guy always has time for a question, whether it’s from a student, a co-worker, or a random caller on the phone.<\/p>\n

Frank teaches a couple classes, flight instructs, holds the title of Assistant Chief Flight Instructor so it would seem he’s a very busy person, but you’d never know it. He never makes anyone feel like he’s too busy for them. Frank has the answer when no one else does or at the very least knows where to find it! His experience and abilities are a great asset to all of us. Students and co-workers alike will tell you how lucky we are to have Frank Jabour in our NMC family.<\/p>\n

Kudos to NMC Hagerty Center Staff and Sodexo:\u00a0 <\/strong>Sodexo and the NMC Hagerty Center Staff\u00a0 provided outstanding meals for the Yellow River visitors last Wednesday, January 13th. The food and services were “absolutely outstanding” and “over-the-top”. Well done and thank you!<\/p>\n

Additional Kudos for NMC Faculty and Staff who served as ambassadors for our Yellow River visitors.<\/p>\n

Kudos to Dennis Schultz, Kyle Morrison, and Alan Beers:\u00a0 <\/strong>Dennis Schultz, Kyle Morrison, and Alan Beer from Media Technology provided Gwen Tafelsky with technical support to make the NMC Nursing Simulation Lab a successful experience for everyone that participated.<\/p>\n

Kudos to Gwen Tafelsky:\u00a0 <\/strong>On Wednesday, January 13, Gwen Tafelsky, Simulation Coordinator, facilitated the opportunity for Dr. Dan Webster and MSU medical students to come to the NMC Nursing Simulation lab to work with standardized patients. The focus for the day was mental health simulation. Simulation allows students to practice in a safe environment prior to working in the clinical setting with actual patients.\u00a0 Congratulations on a successful event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
