\"Alan-Vigland-1450345627\"Alan Gudemoos Vigland, Benzonia, 74, cherished husband, father, friend and respected artist passed away on December 13, 2015.\u00a0Alan taught ceramics part-time at Interlochen Center for the Arts and later at Northwestern Michigan College. Many of his colleagues at ICA and NMC became cherished life-long friends. Alan was a widely-respected potter among peers and customers with artwork in private collections nationwide.\u00a0A celebration of Alan\u2019s life will take place at the First Congregational Church of Benzonia on Saturday, January 9 at 11 AM. Lunch will be served following the celebration.\u00a0Memorials may be made to the Northwestern Michigan College Foundation.
