Kim was born and raised in Onekama Michigan and returned to Frankfort to set up her home after college. She has been with her husband since they were 14 years old and has 2 boys who are 9 and 11. Kim got her Associates in Nursing from Kalamazoo Valley Community College followed by a Bachelors in the Science of Nursing from Grand Valley State University through the University Center here at NMC. Kim continued with her Masters after ten years of working and raising a family from Walden University. She has 18 years of Maternity experience and loves to teach anything and everything. She has been an adjunct for the college for about 10 years for the Maternal-Child clinical rotation and currently works as the Maternity Educator at Munson Medical Center and a floor nurse (in her spare time). When not teaching, Kim loves to flower garden, scrapbook, camp, relax at the beach, ski with her family of snowboarders, and watch her boys play sports. Kim is very excited about the opportunity to be the Lead Faculty for Advanced Maternal Child here at NMC. It is truly a dream come true.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
