{"id":12709,"date":"2015-06-05T11:00:15","date_gmt":"2015-06-05T15:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=12709"},"modified":"2015-06-05T11:00:15","modified_gmt":"2015-06-05T15:00:15","slug":"benefits-corner-hsa-update-and-bcbsm-has-updated-reimbursement-policies-for-chiropractors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=12709","title":{"rendered":"Benefits corner- HSA update and BCBSM has updated reimbursement policies for chiropractors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Click to read more about the latest benefits corner topics.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Health Savings Account Update<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HR has been made aware that Huntington Bank will be transferring all HSAs to Optum Bank effective June 27, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>HR has also been made aware that JP Morgan Chase Bank transferred their HSAs to HSA Bank, a division of Webster Bank,<\/p>\n<p>Please contact your bank directly with any questions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>HR will need to have your updated Account and Routing numbers if applicable<\/strong>, as the next HSA deposit from NMC will be made on July 10, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>BCBSM has updated reimbursement policies for chiropractors<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Effective August 1, 2015, your Chiropractor will have the ability to bill BCBSM for additional procedure codes that were not previously permitted.
