\"BBQSpring fever is in the air… we hope everyone enjoyed their Spring Break! Before we can catch our breath the 60th annual\u00a0BBQ\u00a0will be upon us! This year the\u00a0BBQ\u00a0will be held on\u00a0Sunday, May 17\u00a0from\u00a011 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n

The NMC Barbecue board would like to invite you to take part in putting on our annual community picnic.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how to sign up in 4 easy steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Click this link\u00a0to go to our invitation page on VolunteerSpot:\u00a0http:\/\/vols.pt\/iQeFKb<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Review\u00a0the activities listed and choose the one(s) you like.<\/li>\n
  3. Sign up!\u00a0It\u2019s Easy \u2014 you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on VolunteerSpot.<\/li>\n
  4. Be sure to click the green SAVE button after selecting your shift(s). This can be found at either the top or the bottom of the list of activities on the sign up page.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    <\/p>\n

    Note:\u00a0VolunteerSpot does not share your email address with anyone. If you prefer not to use your email address, please contact Anne Varga, PR and Marketing Assistant, at\u00a0avarga@nmc.edu<\/a>\u00a0or(231) 995-1020<\/a>\u00a0and she can sign you up manually. Please also contact her if you have any questions.<\/p>\n

    Again this year, volunteers will receive a T-shirt commemorating their time at the\u00a0BBQ. The T-shirts will be handed out at the time you check in at the volunteer tent prior to reporting for your shift(s). Please be aware that sizes are first come, first serve. If you volunteer for a shift that occurs another day than Sunday, you will be contacted individually for your t-shirt size.<\/p>\n

    As always, if you volunteer for activities that occur the day of the\u00a0BBQ, we ask that you check in at the Volunteer Tent 15 minutes prior to your shift. The Volunteer Tent is located at the flag poles between the Tanis building and the Library.
