\"Jack<\/p>\n

The International Affairs Forum at Northwestern Michigan College presents a discussion with Jack Segal, a retired senior US diplomat and former co-chair of the International Affairs Forum who served at the US Embassy in Israel as Counselor for Political\/Military Affairs during the first Intifada and the Gulf War. Segal will discuss Israel’s new coalition government under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Far-right factions of the new coalition threaten to destabilize Israel, Palestine and the greater region. The presentation will include a public Q & A session.<\/p>\n

The event will be held on Wednesday, February 1<\/strong>, at 11 a.m.<\/strong> in the Timothy J. Nelson Innovation Center, Room 106\/107 on NMC’s main campus. Seating is limited. The event will also be available to livestream. Advance registration<\/a> is required. Current students and educators receive free in-person admission.\u00a0<\/p>\n
