{"id":109676,"date":"2021-11-04T12:00:09","date_gmt":"2021-11-04T16:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=109676"},"modified":"2023-11-18T22:27:41","modified_gmt":"2023-11-19T03:27:41","slug":"eleven-eligible-to-fill-vacancy-on-board-of-trustees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.nmc.edu\/?p=109676","title":{"rendered":"Eleven eligible to fill vacancy on Board of Trustees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TRAVERSE CITY &#8212; Eleven candidates are eligible to fill the seat on Board of Trustees vacated by former trustee Michael Estes last month.<\/p>\n<p>The applicants, who must reside in Grand Traverse County, are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"two-column-text\">\n<li>Jackie Anderson, Traverse City<\/li>\n<li>Vince Cornellier, Traverse City<\/li>\n<li>Brian Craig, Traverse City<\/li>\n<li>Madison Ford,Traverse City<\/li>\n<li>David Grams, Traverse City<\/li>\n<li>Todd Hall, Traverse City<\/li>\n<li>Pamela Horne, Interlochen<\/li>\n<li>Mattias Johnson, Traverse City<\/li>\n<li>Andy Robitshek, Traverse City<\/li>\n<li>Ty Schmidt, Traverse City<\/li>\n<li>Thomas Webb, Traverse City<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Estes resigned from NMC&#8217;s Board of Trustees effective Oct. 17. The new trustee will fill the term he was elected to in 2016 until the next regular community college election in November 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Interviews will be conducted in special public meetings according to the Michigan Open Meetings Act.
