Heather Hess recently transitioned to the full-time position of Talent Acquisition Specialist in Human Resources on September 8, 2014. Heather was born in Neurmberg, Germany and grew up in the village of Philadelphia, New York. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Information Design and Corporate Communication from Bentley University in Waltham, MA. After college she began her career in Human Resources working at the Grand Teton Lodge Company in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. Heather’s Human Resource Experience includes administrative, training and staff development, and recruitment. She spent five years climbing the corporate ladder before taking some time to experience the world. She spent seven months living and working in New Zealand with her husband, Jeremy. Upon their return to the United States Heather and Jeremy relocated to Michigan so Jeremy could pursue a Master’s Degree, which ultimately brought them to Traverse City. They had their first child, Carson, in February.
