In support of our veterans and to encourage understanding of our veterans’ experiences, Michele Howard created an incredibly well-thought out and supportive Veteran Resource Library. This resource speaks volumes to our service members and promotes understanding/learning for all of NMC’s learners.
When the Great Lakes Campus webcam went on the fritz, leaving one of the most popular pages on the NMC website dark, Dave Dalquist quickly got it running again on a temporary basis, while Alan Beer and Dennis Schultz replaced it with a standby unit within a day. Thanks for keeping NMC’s view of the bay and the Great Lakes Campus live to the world!
On multiple occasions, Rhonda Greiner has gone out of her way to assist students who had qualified for education dollars, but had not received their financial aid money yet. If it weren’t for Rhonda’s compassion, understanding, and thoughtful risk-taking, these students would not have been able to acquire the necessary books they needed to be successful in class.
