There is still time to register for the summer semester!

Payment due date for summer is Tuesday, April 29, 2014.

For information on how to make a payment or set up a payment plan, please go to: https://www.nmc.edu/financial-aid/payment-options.html

There will be one auto-drop for non-payment, planned for May 2.

NMC may drop your enrollment in classes if you owe a balance after April 29, 2014. However, there are circumstances where, as a courtesy, we will not drop your classes. You must drop any classes that you do not plan to attend, otherwise, you will be responsible for payment of charges incurred and will receive a grade at the end of the semester. Classes can only be dropped on NMC Self-Service or in person. If there is a hold preventing a drop, contact us to lift the hold.

Please check and manage your account status and class schedule regularly, especially between now and the 100% refund dates listed on your class schedule for each course. Always check your NMC email for notifications and e-bills. There will be no paper bills.

Steps for summer:

  • If you have already received financial aid this year in fall and/or spring, check on Self-Service to see if you have financial aid left for summer. Otherwise:
  • Pay by April 29, set up a payment plan and make payments on time.
  • Drop classes you don’t plan to attend by the 100% refund date for each class printed on the student schedule.
  • Watch your NMC email and check your account and schedule after the auto-drop to make sure you know where you stand.
  • Attend your classes to completion, taking full advantage of all of the help available to succeed. (Withdrawal or non-attendance can result in loss of financial aid.  Contact Student Financial Services for information.)

Summer classes begin as early as May 10 – check your schedule for your start date!

Summer financial aid students: Please note that there will be multiple disbursements of federal aid.

  • If any of your classes begin in May, aid will disburse in the last week of May. Last day to charge books is May 23.
  • If any of your classes begin in June, aid will disburse in the last week of June. Last day to charge books is June 20.
  • If all of your classes begin after June 30, disbursement will occur after attendance is verified.

**For all disbursements, credit balances will be refunded within 14 days after disbursement.**
