It has recently been brought to our attention that a company is soliciting students to submit a student aid profile form (with a fee) to find financial aid resources.  Do not submit any information to this company. Remember that you do not have to pay to complete your FAFSA.  www.fafsa.gov is free and there is no paper form to mail in.   Any verification forms needed will only come from NMC or the Department of Education (Student Aid Report).

While these offers may not be scams, it is not necessary for you to pay to get aid information.  If you have any questions please contact Student Financial Services at (231) 995-1035 or visit them in the Tanis Building, room 142, or contact the financial aid office of other schools you may be transferring to.
