tedx TCIn its fourth year, TEDx Traverse City will host Game Changers: Designing Tomorrow on Wednesday, May 14. The live event will take place in the Milliken Auditorium at the Dennos Museum on NMC’s Main Campus. Tickets for the live venue are $99 and will include lunch and snacks throughout the day.

The State Theater will again play host to the real-time simulcast of the event. These tickets will be free but do need to be “purchased” at the event website (tedxtraversecity.com). Both the Milliken and State Theater locations sold out quickly during the first day of sales last year so it is advised that you secure your tickets early on April 15th (tickets will go on sale at 10am). You will be allowed to purchase up to 3 tickets at a time for the Milliken Auditorium and up to 4 at a time for the State Theater.

New this year will be an additional simulcast location on Main Campus for NMC students and staff who want to drop in for a talk or stay for the day. This free simulcast will be located in Scholar’s Hall Rm. 217 (the theater). There will not be tickets offered for this location. Seats are available on a first come, first served basis.

Faculty who wish to purchase a ticket for the Milliken Auditorium should secure their own ticket online and then contact Sara Budzik (sbudzik@nmc.edu) for reimbursement through CIE funds. Staff who wish to purchase a ticket should secure approval through their manager to utilize department professional development funds and then secure their own ticket online.
