Kudos to Michele Howard in the Library! She has been generously available to my students and has produced a companion websites for the major paper assignments in my courses. These LibGuides, as they are called, demystify the research process and enhance student engagement and learning. The effort, time, and energy that she devotes to our students is humbling and inspiring. I am truly grateful for this tremendous colleague.

Kudos to the Health Occupations Staff for the Explore Your Major event! The event was fun, informative and well attended by students.

Kudos to Sonja Olshove  She truly cares for her students and always shows it in every aspect during class and outside of it. I’m transferring to GVSU next year but one of the main reasons I’m sad to leave NMC is because of Sonja. She definitely deserves this award!

Kudos to Julie Doyal and Maureen Carlson They each recently earned their Learning Resources Network (LERN) certifications, Julie as a Certified Program Planner (CPP) and Maureen as a Certified Marketing Planner (CMP). LERN is the world’s largest association in continuing education and lifelong learning, offering information and consulting expertise to providers of continuing education and customized training. This was a one week training program that concluded with a comprehensive examination to earn the LERN certified designation. Congratulations to Julie and Maureen for achieving these certifications.
