Esther was born and raised in a small Michigan town near Traverse City. She came to NMC in 2011, and worked at the Social Science office as a student assistant while she was earning her Associate’s Degree. After graduating in 2013, she spent a semester at Lake Superior State University before coming back home to Traverse City and to NMC as a supplemental assistant in the Financial Aid Office. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Studies at Ferris State University through the University Center and is double minoring in Professional Writing and English Literature. In her spare time she enjoys reading the classics, writing fiction, running, having adventures with her nephew, and spending time with the rest of her family.
