Spring fever is in the air… we hope everyone enjoyed their Spring Break! Before we can catch our breath the 60th annual BBQ will be upon us! This year the BBQ will be held on Sunday, May 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The NMC Barbecue board would like to invite you to take part in putting on our annual community picnic.
Here’s how to sign up in 4 easy steps:

- Review the activities listed and choose the one(s) you like.
- Sign up! It’s Easy — you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on VolunteerSpot.
- Be sure to click the green SAVE button after selecting your shift(s). This can be found at either the top or the bottom of the list of activities on the sign up page.

Again this year, volunteers will receive a T-shirt commemorating their time at the BBQ. The T-shirts will be handed out at the time you check in at the volunteer tent prior to reporting for your shift(s). Please be aware that sizes are first come, first serve. If you volunteer for a shift that occurs another day than Sunday, you will be contacted individually for your t-shirt size.
As always, if you volunteer for activities that occur the day of the BBQ, we ask that you check in at the Volunteer Tent 15 minutes prior to your shift. The Volunteer Tent is located at the flag poles between the Tanis building and the Library. We also ask that you park near the Traverse City Central Music Building.
