Could you see yourself stepping into the role of global leadership and linguistic ambassadorship? If so, you may be a strong candidate for our 2015 US-Brazil Connect Fellowship Program!
For the third year, NMC is offering an exciting foreign study and cultural exchange opportunity with US-Brazil Connect (USBC). Students (Fellows) will travel to beautiful Brazil in the summer of 2015, where they will assist in teaching English skills to high school students, take part in enriching travel excursions and educational activities, make life-long friends and invaluable cross-cultural connections, and experience one of the most gracious and vibrant societies in modern Latin America.
Students from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in teaching English as a second language is not required; however, applicants ought to be flexible, motivated, open-minded, enthusiastic, and team-oriented. Comprehensive information and applications are linked here:

Please read through all materials carefully prior to submission. Application deadline is December 5, 2014; please turn in the Application to International Services and Service Learning in West Hall.
Cost for this wonderful four week experience, after being awarded an NMC Global Opportunities Scholarship (see application attached) and USBC stipend, including airfare, accommodations, training, most meals, excursions, in-country transport, and ground support, will be approximately $1,500.
Dates for the experience are tentatively June 15-July 15.
