The Hawk Owls fell 2-1 to Saginaw Valley State University Soccer Club, despite dominating the second half. Going down 2-0 early in the match, NMC took control of the match and scored on a free kick to pull within 1 goal. NMC then put shot after shot on goal, twice hitting the cross bar and numerous others just missing wide or over the top. In the end, NMC could not score and SVSU held on for the win.
Next Saturday, NMC Soccer Club plays their last match of the fall season, tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m. vs Cornerstone JV at the Traverse City Coast Guard Fields.
