The NMC Foundation wishes to announce changes to their staff taking place in the near future. Please make note of these changes for business interactions with the Foundation.

Recently, the Foundation’s Director of Development, Anthony Rupard, announced that he has accepted a position as Director of Development at the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy. We are all pleased that Anthony will have the opportunity to serve the community in this great position, though we will be sad to see him leave our team.

Additionally, while Rebecca Teahen is out on maternity leave, Vicki Cook, Vice President for Finance & Administration will supervise the team with Craig Mulder, Foundation Database Specialist serving as their team lead.

Lastly, the Foundation has welcomed two new members to their team:

Paula TruexPaula Truex has joined as a temporary Administrative Assistant. She will be filling in for Amanda Gower, while she goes on maternity leave. Paula will be assisting with our Foundation Board meetings, committee meetings, scheduling, etc. Paula is originally from Muncie, IN and received her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from Ball State University in 2012. Over the last two years she has worked for Intersection (a marketing and branding agency) and Sojourn Church setting up sustainable systems of communication within these organizations. In her free time she enjoys being a Young Life leader, helping out at Good Will Inn, and taking trips up north to the U.P.

 

Schoppe, PaulPaul Schoppe joined the team just last week as the Resource Development Assistant.  He will be responsible for the daily gift entry and reporting, membership processing, and creating donor acknowledgement letters.  Paul received his associates degree in accounting from NMC in 2009.  Over the past 5 years, he has provided bookkeeping services for various businesses in the area.  In his free time, you can find him on the ski slopes and softball fields.  He also works with Traverse City Roller Derby as their videographer.
